Nirmal International School, Pachora, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with a spirit of patriotism and pride. The celebration on 15th August began with the hoisting of the national flag by the honorable chief guest, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem by the entire school. The vibrant tricolor fluttered high as students and staff alike stood in respectful attention, commemorating the sacrifices of freedom fighters who secured India's liberty.
The event featured a series of inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, and cultural performances that showcased the diversity and unity of India. Students from different grades took part in a march-past, displaying discipline and national pride, followed by a poignant speech by Mr. Rajput, who encouraged students to honor the freedom we enjoy and reminded them of their responsibility towards building a better nation.
The highlight of the celebration was a series of cultural performances where students enacted scenes from India’s freedom struggle, paying tribute to national heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Subhash Chandra Bose. Traditional and contemporary dances, along with patriotic skits, were performed, creating an atmosphere filled with emotion and national pride.
Competitions such as drawing and essay writing on the theme of “India of My Dreams” allowed students to express their love for the country creatively. The winners were applauded for their outstanding efforts and rewarded with certificates.
The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, leaving a sense of unity and patriotism in every heart. Nirmal International School’s 15th August celebration was a tribute not only to the country’s freedom but also to the vision of a brighter, stronger India.
